What I’m Doing Right “NOW”

LAST UPDATED: October 1, 2016

I created this page to help me allocate the right amount of time and energy to what I need and want to do. I will update this page regularly as I fine-tune its mandate. I’m striving for better harmony in my life and taking on too much puts the focus I need to work on the above in jeopardy.

I’m also focusing on deep work going forward, which lines up well with my personal #API philosophy. I’ll be writing more about this over at my blog.

MY DAILY THEMES

Here are my Daily Themes. Every day has one so that it triggers my overarching focus for that particular day of the week.

MONDAY: Administrative Work and Coding

TUESDAY: Regular Coding and BugFixing

WEDNESDAY: Online Writing Work and Dissertation Writing

THURSDAY: Dissertation Writing Day

FRIDAY: Regular Coding and BugFixing

SATURDAY: Hobbies Day

SUNDAY:  Planning Day

(Note: That doesn’t mean I only do things related to that theme on that day, but those activities/types of work gets my overarching focus.)

MY MONTHLY THEME: October

My Monthly Themes act in the same manner as my Daily Themes. In October my primary focus is to work on my PhD dissertation and that will remain my primary focus throughout the summer months. Unfortunately I will also attend the Greek Army but there is no way to avoid this.. I will also most of my time developing the new Orfium release, including the regular program I’ve been working on posting new articles, organising #API Events and more.

MY THREE WORDS FOR 2016

I’ve chosen Creativity, Dedication, and Optimisation as My Three Words for 2016.

This page was inspired by Mike Vardy.
